International contact starts with a specific goal
A Member can visit Chapter Meetings in other countries and build relationships in markets they want to explore. The greatest value comes from combining global reach with precise preparation.
Scale becomes a tool when you can say where your company is heading, whom you want to meet and what matter is worth opening a conversation about. In practice, the path looks like this:
- 01you define the market and the goal: getting to know the environment, a partner or a chosen industry;
- 02you find the country and the Chapter, and a Member or Director on BNI Connect;
- 03you arrange a conversation and attend a Chapter Meeting;
- 04you present your company and listen to how the local market works;
- 05you develop relationships with people for whom the conversation makes mutual sense.
A visit lets you talk to business owners rooted in the local reality and better understand the industry environment and the culture of relationships.
One sentence about the purpose of the conversation — market, industry and matter — shortens the path to the right person more than a long company presentation.
The essence of this path is Givers Gain®: a willingness to share relationships and knowledge when they serve the right people. A Member in Poland can benefit from relationships worldwide and support a business owner interested in the Polish market.
Highlights from Global Conventions
The Global Convention moves to a different continent every year. Recordings from successive editions show the same community in Australia, Hawaii, Europe and Asia.
First get to know the people and the context. Then grow the business
The international community helps you move from a general expansion plan to conversations with business owners who know the local market from everyday practice.
Get to know the business environment
Meeting a local Chapter helps you learn how trust is built, how decisions are made and which arguments matter to business owners in a given market.
Reach the right contact
A precise description of your need helps Members identify the people with whom a conversation can bring value to both sides.
Build credibility through action
Credibility grows through preparation, keeping to agreements, sharing knowledge and consistent contact. Shared referral principles bring order to how business owners are introduced.
Connect markets in both directions
A Polish Member can seek relationships abroad and support business owners interested in Poland. Value flows from contacts received and responsibly passed on.
BNI creates the environment for starting a conversation; strategy, the quality of the offer and further decisions remain with the business owners.
A strong community in Poland. Access to relationships around the world
BNI has operated in Poland since 2006. Over 20 years, a community of nearly 100 Chapters and around 2,300 companies has grown, connected with business owners in 70 countries.
| Presence in Poland | since 2006 |
| Chapters in the country | nearly 100 |
| Companies in the community | approx. 2,300 |
| International reach | 70 countries |
The Polish community is a place where the international BNI model meets the realities of local companies. Members work in their Chapters, get to know other business owners’ activities and learn to pass on referrals in a way based on trust and a good fit.
The national scale connects regions and industries, while the global scale opens up relationships in other markets. A business owner can develop contacts from their own Chapter, through contacts across Poland, to international conversations arising from a specific need.
Polish Members know the local industries and regions, so they can also support business owners interested in Poland. The number of Chapters and companies shows the national reach, and the international community — the potential direction of relationships.
Our stories: what a community used well can change
“BNI is probably the best organisation in the world.”
The numbers show BNI’s reach. Members’ stories show the decisions, relationships and work that make the international community meaningful for a specific company.
Companies join the community with different goals: growth in Poland, finding partners abroad or building a circle of referrals.
The card shows the starting point, the Member’s action and the significance of the relationship built at BNI. The full story describes the decisions, the course of the cooperation and the lessons for other companies.
The full stories are in the knowledge base. Each rests on a Member’s confirmed experience and consent.
One community, many meeting places
BNI’s scale is best seen where business owners meet beyond the boundaries of their own Chapter: in the regions, at national events and at BNI’s global conferences.
Regional meetings
Regional events bring together Members from neighbouring Chapters and broaden the picture of the local market.
National events
National events serve the exchange of experience, learning and conversations between business owners from different industries and regions.
BNI global conferences
Global events bring together Members from many markets. They serve to compare practices, learn and build relationships between business owners.
Each level serves to get to know companies, share knowledge and build trust.
This is what our community looks like when it meets in one place
Regional meetings, nationwide conferences and global conventions — one community in many places.
