Who it is forNew Members

The Member Success Program is the first step for every new Member: a training session at which you get to know BNI from the inside — how the referral system works, how to make use of all the organisation’s opportunities and how to plan your first weeks in the Chapter. Instead of learning by trial and error, you work with a full set of skills from the start and benefit from what the Chapter offers from the very first weeks.

W1–W6 workshops

Who it is forMembers after onboarding

Selling through referrals can be learnt — that is what the cycle of six workshops is for. Each is a separate session and one skill: from a company presentation that stays in people’s memory to networking that turns short conversations into lasting relationships.

W1 · Effective self-presentation. How to prepare and deliver company presentations that stay in people’s memory — and come back to you as referrals.

W2 · Effective referrals. How to obtain and pass on referrals that the other party will actually earn from.

W3 · Grow your network of contacts. How to expand your network of contacts so that it genuinely helps you build and grow your business.

W4 · Power Teams. A Power Team is a group of Members from complementary industries who work for similar customers. The workshop teaches how to build such partnerships so that referrals flow regularly.

W5 · One-to-One meetings. A One-to-One is a conversation between two Members about their companies, customers and needs. The workshop shows how to prepare and run it so that it ends in referrals and orders.

W6 · Effective networking and mingling. Mingling means relaxed conversations with people you have just met at business events. The workshop teaches how to feel confident in them and how to turn short conversations into lasting relationships.

BNI University and webinars

Who it is forAll Members

BNI knowledge does not end in the training room. BNI University is a platform available at any time: training and materials on working with referrals that you use when you have the time — even late in the evening, after the company has closed for the day. Alongside it run webinars and regular live online training led by trainers and referral practitioners — as part of the membership, without leaving the office.

Weekly Chapter Meeting

Who it is forChapter Members · Visitors by appointment

The heart of BNI beats every week. The same group of business owners sits down at the table, each presents their company in 60 seconds, referrals are passed on and One-to-Ones arranged — following a fixed agenda, so that around 90 minutes end in concrete outcomes, not just talk. Everything the workshops teach and everything you see at conferences proves itself right here.

Welcoming Visitors at a BNI Chapter Meeting05 · By appointment

Visitor’s visit

Who it is forBusiness owners outside BNI

The shortest way to find out how BNI works: come and see. Most Chapters hold Visitor Days — a business owner from outside BNI sits at the Chapter table, listens to the Members’ 60-second presentations, sees referrals being passed on and, if they wish, presents their own company. The decision comes only afterwards. All it takes is to arrange a visit with a chosen Chapter — we will help you choose the nearest one.

Chapter Leadership Team training

Who it is forChapter Leadership Teams

Every Chapter is led by a Leadership Team elected from among the Members — business owners who, beyond their own company, take responsibility for the results of the whole table. The training prepares them for this role: how to run meetings, how to look after the quality of referrals and how to grow the Chapter so that it works for everyone’s results. For a Member it is also a school of leadership that pays off in their own company.
